New Abstract Pinhole Gallery (2024-)

The Abstract Pinhole Gallery
The Abstract Pinhole Gallery (1992-2021)
The first abstract photos were taken in 1992 as I made apertures with several holes with them I photographed different light sources (lamps, liquids in glasses, reflections on different materials, and through a glass ball). I make the lenses out of black paper. I had discovered a technique that enabled me to do abstract things taking pictures. I experimented further with pinholes produced with different hole sizes, hole shapes and number of holes. Meanwhile, I have around 40 different pinholes I use on a Nikon FM2. I use exclusively colour slide films. "Metamorphosis" was taken with a Nikon D610.

Pinhole Photography
First Steps With Pinhole Photography (1984-1985)
Taken with a bellows camera for 6x9 cm film. The camera was converted into a pinhole camera, apertures 45 and 180. The exposure times varied from several seconds to 20 minutes.
ABOUT
I'm a guitarist, multiinstrumentalist, composer, producer and pinhole photographer from Switzerland. My music is a blend of progressive rock and fusion. Since the early 80's I take pictures with Pinhole cameras (camera obscura [latin], Lochkamera [german]). The first abstract photos were taken in 1992 as I made apertures with several holes and different forms.
